3. TALK NERDY TO ME

Musically, Supergirl is a deep house reinterpretation of the original song by Reamonn, retaining its lyrical core while transforming its sonic landscape. Here are some nerdy tidbits:

• Key: Likely in A minor, giving it a moody, introspective vibe.
• Tempo: Around 120–124 BPM, standard for deep house, but with a laid-back groove.
• Chord Progression: Uses a looped four-chord progression, creating a hypnotic, trance-like effect.
• Production: Features side-chained synths, atmospheric pads, and a punchy kick—hallmarks of modern house music.

The contrast between the vulnerable lyrics (“But I’m a supergirl, and supergirls don’t cry”) and the uplifting beat creates a bittersweet emotional tension that’s both
